Welp. Based on the fact that the current poll is at 100%, I think everyone likes letters. :U That's a good thing.

'Cause why? I'll tell you why.

I wanna send Christmas/New Years/Holiday/politically-correct-saying-of-the-time-near-the-end-of-the-year cards. Because mail is lovely. Letters are lovely. :U

Here are:

THE BASICS: write a Christmas/Holiday wish list. It can be any 10 wishes you'd like to have granted, no matter what they are. Possible or seemingly impossible. People look and grant the wishes if they can. It's not about "OMFG PRESENTS", it's about making someone else's holiday a little brighter by giving. Personally, I get more out of giving than receiving sometimes. It's just a good feeling to give.

STEP ONE

** Make a post in your journal. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fun ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.

** If you wish for real possible things, make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you. In this case, you can always just note someone on dA.

** Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your journal, so that others can join in and participate to spread the holiday joy!


STEP TWO

** Surf around your friend list to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:

** If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.

** You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call.

There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.

1) Mail. Holy crap I love mail. I cannot describe how much I love mail. Even when it's colleges who have sent me a bajillion ads wanting me to go to their college, I still love it. Though...I'm terrible at sending it. OTL Though...those who I have been mailing...I've been waiting until I get my senior pictures (WHICH SHOULD BE WEDNESDAY AND IF IT IS NOT I WILL raddaradda).

2)I want to be able to visit in South Dakota in a timely fashion. ;A; *grabby hands* Or being able to meet anyone I know on DA would be fantastic _{Ohayocon anyone?} I will squeeze you until you can be squeezed no more.

3)I want faster language learning abilities. I mean, this whole Finnish learning thing isn't going so bad...I can read most of Nina's status's on Facebook....Actually saying something myself is a whooooole other issue.

4) 'Nough said.

5)Music. I love music and can never have enough of it.

6)I really wish for this Healthcare bill to pass. I really do.

7)A laptop. I will need one for college and it would be nice to get away from just one spot. I would love to have one with a webcam. A nice webcam.

8)Time and inspiration to finish writing my comic. It's so far making me very happy but I just need more time and motivation to do it. School is killing me right now.

9)Art. Any art. Because art is a lovely thing.

So~ Yesterday, I went to 's awesome Star Trek party where we watched Jon Stewart, Star Trek, and the Star Trek Futurama episode. It was full of epicness. I made cupcakes:

And today, I meant to do homework and stuff but that didn't work. I ate shrimp tempura~ <3 Well, I worked on my collage for a bit but then I was kidnapped by some Hilliard friends. We went to Tuttle Mall and I bought a black turtleneck and a white scarf at H&M. Love that store so good. Then we went to Graeter's and sat in there for a good hour and a half. It was epic.

I should probably watch Donnie Darko since I got it from Netflix...I will....in a few days =v=~ Or...I could watch Star Trek again....yes...that seems like a good idea...yes.
